Despite the meaning of that word has not been yet fully revealed, many like to highlight the Santoku knife qualities such as slicing, chopping and mincing or relate it to its skills when cutting meat, fish or vegetable. Whatever meaning you choose or imagine, know that the Santoku will be your perfect companion, smaller and lighter than the Chef knife, allowing you precise cutting.

Das Messer ist OK, und macht seine Dienste. Der Versand erfolgte sehr schnell, leider wie immer ist ein Tracken der Sendung aus dem Ausland bei der DHL nicht möglich (hat bisher noch nie funktioniert). Leider steht in der Artikelbeschreibung nicht, dass dieses Produkt aus einer chinesisch-industriellen Massenfertigung kommt. Ersichtlich ist es leider nur auf der Seite des Shops. Bei der Bestellung bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass der Verkäufer das Messer selbst hergestellt hat. Das Damstmuster ist gelasert, und nicht natürlich, eben typisch für chinesische Kopien. Originale Japanmesser gibt es zum gleichen Preis in Japan direkt beim Schmiedemeister zu bestellen, zzgl. Zoll und Versand, man muss nur Englisch können, dann steht einer Bestllung nichts mehr im Weg...
